Meet David P. Eckert, Psy. D.

Dr. David Eckert is an understanding psychologist serving clients in the Westbury, NY and nearby areas. He is currently providing services via telehealth.

Dr. Eckert first attended Amherst College in Amherst, MA, where he graduated as a National Merit Scholar with a bachelor’s in psychology. He went on to earn his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School in Bronx, NY. He has subsequent training in clinical hypnosis.

Patients trust Dr. Eckert to help them manage a number of mental health conditions. Some of these include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), postpartum depression, eating disorders, and many others. He specializes in counseling for couples, adolescents, parents, and divorcees.

In his spare time, Dr. Eckert enjoys writing and editing poetry and fiction.
